You need to move to China if you want the government to tell you what to do, how much you’ll make, and answer your complaints with a jail term!

Speaking from someone who has had allot of experience on this… It is more complex than you are describing…

Outsourcing is substantially cheaper than automation.. (About 10x actually). Until we start seeing wage parity which will occur in appoximately 20 years, then automation will not start to happen.

Outsourcing is a huge problem. I call for tech support on my computer and I get someone that can’t even speak English. The only jobs that will be left in the USA will be the dirty jobs that you actually can only do if you are physically present – such as changing elderly diapers, picking up the trash, janitors. Outsourcing overseas is taking all the decent jobs.

It is a part of it.
I think job loss now is more due to the dot com bubble, enron and MCi Scandal, 9 -11 killing airline travel, energy expenses.
It was just to many industries hit at the same time, and that trickles down and effects down on everything.

The cost of war, and a new homeland security department, and Fema, only time can adjust the markey, and the stroner dollar is a good sign.
